Demonstration at Pyramid Atlantic

I'm excited for the Pyramid Atlantic Book Arts Fair this weekend and am honored to be among awesome demonstrators such as Dennis O'Neil, Lee Marchalonis, current PA resident Allison Bianco (check out her great large-scale etchings/screenprints), and Denise Bookwalter, not to mention all the talks and exhibitors (such as SP Weather Station, Great Basin Press, Robin Price, and Guild of Bookworkers). I'll be demonstrating sewing on handmade paper tapes on Sunday afternoon at 3.
Check out a list of the demonstrations here:

Bradel Binding at The Center for Book Arts

This Saturday and Sunday (October 13-14) I'm teaching a Bradel Binding workshop at the Center for Book Arts in NYC. A sleek and solid book structure I often use in my own work. We'll root the structure in a bit of book history and will delve into techniques that are transferable to other structures as well.

Also this month, another book, Compendium of Domestic Incidents, is showing at San Diego Book Arts National Juried Exhibition.

Upcoming class

I'll be teaching the Bradel binding at the NY Center for Book Arts, February 18 + 19. I use this structure, or components of it, frequently in my own work- I like its elegant construction and streamlined aesthetic. More info here:
