Birkensnake 3
Brian, Joanna and I just finished the latest Birkensnake. During the course of its production (a good time as usual), we got added to wikipedia and then decided not notable and deleted. Literary trash classy zine-journal: check it out here: http://birkensnake.com/issue3.php

Thesis done, Our movie, Haystack
I defended and presented my thesis last Friday. Joanna gave an awesome reading. In non-book arts news, my and Adam Weinstein's film Good Neighbors, about housing development in Tuscaloosa, will be screened at the Bama Theatre (on Greensboro Avenue in Tuscaloosa) this Tuesday the 27th at 7 pm along with the rest of the Documenting Justice films.
I am going to Haystack at the end of May for a printmaking/bookbinding class. I like the work of the instructors- Pati Scobey and Barb Tetenbaum, and am excited to have some structure for making new work in this transition time.
