Thesis done, Our movie, Haystack

I defended and presented my thesis last Friday. Joanna gave an awesome reading. In non-book arts news, my and Adam Weinstein's film Good Neighbors, about housing development in Tuscaloosa, will be screened at the Bama Theatre (on Greensboro Avenue in Tuscaloosa) this Tuesday the 27th at 7 pm along with the rest of the Documenting Justice films.

I am going to Haystack at the end of May for a printmaking/bookbinding class. I like the work of the instructors- Pati Scobey and Barb Tetenbaum, and am excited to have some structure for making new work in this transition time.

Thesis presentation

Friday April 16, 2 pm. University of Alabama, Gorgas Library Room 503.
Possible reading by Joanna (the author).

I don't know how it happened but I'm ahead of schedule!

The first two copies of Compendium of Domestic Incidents are done! Now I just have to bind 38 more.
